Pastel is a professional app that allows developers and artists to capture and organize color palettes for their projects. It offers a range of features designed to enhance your creative process.

With Pastel, you can easily build a library of color palettes by dragging and dropping colors on your iPad. These colors can then be used in various apps, such as Pages, Keynote, or third-party applications that support the import of color data. Pastel acts as your centralized color collection across different apps.

The app seamlessly syncs your library across all your devices using iCloud, ensuring that you always have access to your palettes wherever you are.

In addition to manually creating color palettes, Pastel also allows you to analyze dominant colors from photos in your library or Files. You can choose specific colors manually if desired, and save these palettes directly to Pastel.

Pastel provides a range of convenient color pickers, like the wheel, RGB sliders, and crayons. You can also pick colors from your curated color library. On iPad, you can easily drag and drop colors from the sidebar into any palette.

The app offers various developer-focused code representations, including RGB, hex codes, Objective-C, Swift, and SwiftUI. You can easily copy these representations and paste hex codes into the sliders' color picker.

To expand the usability of your palettes, Pastel allows you to copy a pixel bitmap representation of a palette. This can be pasted into your preferred pixel editor or shared as a screen-sized version for use as a wallpaper or Apple Watch face. Palettes can also be exported to Procreate® for further design exploration.

Additionally, Pastel offers a wallpaper creator that enables you to design beautiful wallpapers in different 2D and 3D styles. This feature allows for even more creative expression.

In the free version, you can explore Pastel's built-in library and add your own palettes, up to a maximum of 20 items. If you require unlimited access to the app's functionality, you can easily upgrade to the full version through an in-app purchase.
